Life is like a box of chocolates

In Savannah there are loads of disused diners and cinemas, there is an amazing art college that has the use of all of them and is slowly bringing them back to life.. they are really nice. but at the moment they arent being used.

Carolin, Lisa's friend took us to her friends restaurant for lunch. My mouth dropped when we went in. It was real southern style and all the locals go there for lunch. It was great. I had a grilled cheese, with biscuits and corn bread. They have these massive vats of sweet tea, that is literally sugar with a tiny bit of tea and they keep refilling all day. Forest Gump was filmed there but I cant actually remember which bit.  The waitress's in there, were so sweet and funny. One was telling us about how fat her grandma was that in the end her grandchildren had to bring her all the ingredients for making her famous biscuits, and she would sit and mix it together with her hands and the kids would have to put it in the oven. Because she couldnt move.
