Then later when the tide was out we went 'ghost crabbing'. You take a big flash light on the beach and find all these creepy crabs that only come out at night. They are transulcent and run over your feet which freaked the hell out of me. It was really fun though, walking along the beach in darkness and being able to see all the stars so clearly. I also saw a star fish, it tried to hide itself in the sand by sinking into it. It was very clever watching it slowly sink. It was annoying cause we didnt see any turtles, they said that thay had seen some the night before coming onto the shore to lay their eggs. It would have been great to see that. But hey a snake, starfish and creepy crabs is pretty good for one night.
